Energy Storage Configuration of Distribution Networks Considering Uncertainties of Generalized Demand-Side Resources and Renewable Energies

With the growing proportion of advanced metering infrastructures and intelligent controllable equipment in power grids, demand response has been regarded as an effective easily implemented approach to meet demand–supply equilibrium. This paper innovatively proposes generalized demand-side resources combining with energy storage system constructs a configuration model obtain scheduling plans. Firstly, this analyzes characteristics models translational loads, reducible loads system. Secondly, deterministic aiming at achieving lowest operation cost distribution networks is established, from which scheme can be obtained. Then, fuzzy membership function probability density are used represent uncertainty response, prediction error renewable output that do not participate response. Therefore, simulates daily operations modify capacity storage. The problem solved by using Monte Carlo simulation, chance-constrained programming mixed-integer programming. Finally, effectiveness demonstrated case studies 33-node network. results show effectively. When only considering resources, total reduced 9.5%. After uncertainty, also decreased 0.3%. Simultaneously, validity verified.
